People say change is good and is to be taken with ease

Others say they hate it and wish it would cease

Friends that you have stood by,trusted and loved slowly disappearing is something i fear

I wish it didnt happen thats what id like to hear

But we cant stop change from happening even though we wish we could

Change makes up weep sad tears of sorrow

Wish it was a dream and that we'd wake up tomarrow

Some people make it look easy dealing with change

When for others it can be one of the hardest things not wanting to bare

I know it will get bad, horrible and seem like a terrible life

I just wish it didnt hurt as bad, that i wouldnt have to go through this horrible strife

I know a lot of peeps that hate to change. Change can be good in some ways but some of the hardest things to change are found within ourselves. Outside we can sort of control to an extent...but inside you have to notice the problem first and then figure out what you can do to fix or bend a bit to it..I think that you described this problem very well..you took outside issues and related it to your feelings inside. Very well done :)

This is a wonderful poem... We can't stop change from happening no matter how much we wish we could but its not always bad either. It is some of the hardest things to go through though. You did a great job of taking some outside issues and putting them into a poem with inside issues, I enjoyed the read.

Bad or good, change is usually some kind of lesson to learned. I believe we're all on some weird path where everything is basically laid out for us. We may not like what lies ahead when pain eventually comes. But they say things always happen for a reason. Nicely done.

Make me think of David Bowie's ch-ch-changes. I both loathe and love change. I wish I cld change and make my mind up which it is! But that won't happen because that is how most of us are ... a bit ambivalent about many aspects of our life. If we never change we are left behind. If we change everything constantly we we leave ourselves behind. Balance must be best I suspect.

you know what change really is a good thing,
it just means we don't stick around in a comfort zone,
which is good, some people hate stepping out of a comfort zone,
they get too relaxed with what is around them.
We need to cut from the comfort zone and try new things.
We can't live our life in a box all of our life.
