Looking For Me

I've gone to find my soul. If I get back before I return....Keep me here.

I've looked all around these days

but it seems I've disappeared

The light betrays my true face

and it seems I've become the one thing I feared.

Life without a soul isn't so bad

without a heart to feel

without a burden to bear

its like reality isn't so real

and maybe I'll get over it

maybe I can find a heart

Maybe I'll admit to myself I made a mistake

and maybe I won't. I can live without a heart

I can spend my time being torn apart

I can live a long life like this

But in the haze that I have to get through

There's one thing I'll miss, if I have to go it alone

and that one thing is You,

because being apart from you

is worse than being ever denied a heart.

In this shadowy haze

minutes become hours and hours move to days

So fast

these hard times will come to pass.

....I don't know. It's been a few days since I've actually been on here, let me know what you think.

BTW, I got the "summary" for this off of one of my brother's old T-Shirts, I just changed one of the words. I couldn't think of anything for this. XD So, I'm not claiming the summary as my work.
