A Poem by GrungeFirePoetry

I know you're here.
The guilt and liquor is melting off of you,
as our tongues begin to heal present wounds.

You never feel different.
It's not in your nature to be warm,
and it's not in mine to let you know.

I see you now.
You weren't alive then,
but this wasted love satisfied your thirst.

You're leaving again.
We're temporary people drowning in stranger's arms,
our lips and hearts will always go when the light turns green.

It`s hard for me to comment on a poem about lovers.
But, I want you to have a review , so this will have to do
"The guilt and liquor is melting off you." Not nice, he sounds
like a bar fly home to his toy.
"It`s not in your nature to be worm". Suggest you go back to
the bar and get a warm one.
You have a most inventive style. You put words together that
ring bells of need and despair, also the celebration of a sweet
girl who fears that she has lost her soul.
Great poetry, terrible disection of two lives.
Thank you,
----- Eagle Cruagh
