Monster

Silence in the dark,

Our love being torn apart,

In the dark room the blood shot eyes glare,

Ripping my soul to shreds,

Showing me I was wrong,

Screaming in the hollow words that I am no more,

Saying the love we once knew is gone,

The love we stood for is no longer there,

Our love was here, 

Our love was there,

Our love was every where but with us,

It is now just a memory in a sea of thoughts,

I try to hold on but the mere mention of that love;

Rolls in a storm bigger then I,

What I once knew is no longer here,

What I once felt is no longer a feeling,

What I once Loved is now a monster,

And I love him no longer.

Terrific write Spazz,
I was really engrossed and touched...
The "monster" metaphor was a bit ambiguitous (is that a word) for me...but that's ok..
Very honest, heartfelt write, Spazz.
One typo I think.....you probably meant 'mere' instead of 'mer'.. although since the previous line includes 'sea'... I guess if you want to play with words you could use 'mer'.
