A Sign

A Sign

A Poem by Desiree O'Neal

The signs before her death

One which we missed

We cursed at her fate

One that was bent

She sighed when she ate

She cried on that day

The one we don't know

Because of the rhythm of her soul

They missed all the signs

Some thought she was fine

But one that day she lost her life

It is sad that we are all getting used to life, and do not pay attention to slight changes. Good job pointing the simple tinny changes.
