A Poem by Jane
"

Triolet

"

Ashes to ashes; dust to dust--

The parson's hollow voice will say,

"Feathers fall and iron will rust,

Ashes to ashes, dust to dust."

The tuneless winds are quick and just

To blow my crumbling heart away.

Ashes to ashes, dust to dust,

And I--

To my lover, for one more day.
