Shadow, I Wish...

Dedicated to my dog

I wish I could stop my cries

I wish I didn't have to say good bye

I wish everything will be alright

So many things I wish tonight

 

I wish he didn't have to go

I wish I didn't feel so low

I wish I could see him once more

Before god closes the door

 

His life was good and strong

He lived for so long

Fourteen years it has been

And now it has came to an end

 

He is now in an endless dream

Even though sad it may seem

I know now he is running free

And in my heart he will always be

 

Shadow, I love you with all my heart

And even though we may be far apart

You were more then a dog, but a best friend

My memory and love for you will never end

im sorry about your dog, when pets die its the hardest thing to go through. Great poem. Im sure if dogs could read he's love it
