Many names I’ve been called

By people I loved most

My family, nonetheless, appalled

I feel like a ghost

The name I was given

When I didn’t agree

To go to the college

You picked out for me

 

B***h

The name I was given

When I said my views out loud

To my own, dear mother

Who I thought was proud

 

C**t

The name I was given

By a boy I once knew

He was [not] the love of my life

Me, he didn’t choose

 

Heartless

The name I was given

When I didn’t cry

[For a movie]

Trust me, that night…

 

Useless

The name I was given

Since I don’t have a job

So I could give you the money

And just quietly sob

 

Worthless

The name I was given

When I had nothing to my name

Even when I’ve tried my best

My positive image, you’ve slain

 

Selfish

The name I was given

When I wouldn’t work for you

I couldn’t take your yelling

… Déjà vu

 

Devil - Worshiper

The name I was given

When I wouldn’t tell you my secret prayers

That hurt worse than the others

Although each name makes my heart tear

 

Many names I’ve been called

By people I loved most

Beautiful! I love how you express the different names and why you were called them.. I know how you feel in every way. You just got to look positively at the bright side of life.. And I know sometimes there is know bright side when that happens the darkness can consume you and destroy you from the inside out. But just talk to your friends, family, people you trust.. Heck even me if you need to.
