A few simple words

The pain has come and now will stay,

I try to fight it, walk away

There is no hiding it or no control

Because the pain is in my soul.

Very simple but very powerful. Sweet and succinct, though I felt it would 'flow' better if it went "Because the pain, is in my soul".

Just a comment though.
