First I Had To Die

First I Had To Die

A Poem by Stacy
"

A vampiric poem

"

The freeze of air hits my skin,

I feel the shaking from within

The breath I have grows very rapid,

Short and slow, it holds me captive

Then it ends, no more intake,

I am dead now for goodness sake

A gasp and my eyes shoot open,

'What the hell happened' is my first notion

I look around with my new eyes,

I see clearly through no disguise

I arise and gaze into the sky,

Vibrant beauty is seen by me, to bad first I had to die.

So much about the sin of the vanity... just like any vampires tat are in love with the lusts...

On the other hand, it's all great here...

This life is merely a stepping stone. You convey in this poem that there is more after this life. Yes, earth is beautiful, life can have beautiful memories too. We can't even fathom what happens next.

Great poem!
I love poems about vampire,
and I don't know why.
Any way, I enjoyed your poem,
and it is going into my library.
