Dance Of The Dead

Dance Of The Dead

A Poem by Stacy

As my soul drifts across the planes,
I flash to a picture that wasn't in vain
The thoughts of the dead dance loudly for me,
They pull me closer, as close as can be
The music is loud and I join on in,
The dance of the dead is not riddled with sin
After the music is long over and gone,
I stand there and stare as the dance is done
I look to my left and then look to my right,
The skeletons lay with bones and no plight
I then hear the music as I walk away,
The dance of the dead will be remembered this day.
