Innocence

Innocence

A Poem by Star Reaper3
"

Just babble. not very good

"
Why is it everyday we live seems to be the same as the last?

But it's not hard to see how it's so different from the past.

When a beautiful child first seen at birth.

Brought into this sad and depressing earth.

With an image of innocence so crystal clear.

After just a few years it will start to smear.

For no one is perfect in this life we live.

Look at our accomplishments we are only destructive.

World War one, World War two, Iraq and Afghanistan too.

Ask yourself this. What did we really do?

We took the lives of daughter's and son's.

Will the cruelty ever be done?

Well I propose innocence is a lie.

We just simply live, then we die.
