Love

Love
What is that ?
Is it a deep affection, lust and great amounts of communication ?
Or is it sentimental feelings and pleasure ?
Truly I never felt it,
Love is for the so called "weak" So I dismiss it
They say love is what you want,
Then how come I have never sought it ?
If love is so good how come we love people who continually hurt us?
If you ask me love is terrible,
Love is something that can kill us,
So why love if your always going to be sad?
Is it because we need that push?
Or is it because we need someone to be there when we are hurt and down?
Maybe it's because we want to be "happy"
Honestly love is fatal
People kill and fight for love
But why I ask again ?
Why love when there are so many negatives ?

i will not answer your question.. i will only say i enjoyed it and i really loved it..although i am in favor of love..but at this point of time i am enjoying your words...its a beautiful piece of work..and thanks for sharing it:)

Deep, Dan. Not as solid as 'You' stylistically, but very meaningful. I best liked this: 'so I dismiss it'. Good word, 'dismiss'. Your teacher crit: well done on apostrophe in 'it's' but you used 'your' instead of 'you're'. (wow, maybe I could teach you grammar through your poetry...are you a captive audience? ;)
