Silver Thread

Silver Thread

A Poem by StarryNights

A silver thread holds them together

But sooner or later...

Threads become shattered and cut away

A fix can be made

The error will always show

Tonight she drowns in suffocated airspace

Looking towards the broken stars

To the moon in gaining hope

A wind to whisper her unspoken words

Mother nature take hold and comfort

Put on a lying smile

Try not to let them look into your eyes

For deep within lies the truth

Of uncharted waters of thoughts

The life jacket won't pull her out

So there she drowns in suffocated airspace

Another world will never be known

Even those most trusted may not learn

Darkness shadows behind the mind

She can't see the light after living

In the black hole so long to giving in

Hide away the heart, hide away the mind

From here on in, nothing ever binds

Words can show love, words can kill

Action upon action nothing will change

Don't give in, don't give it all away

Regrets haunt until everlasting graves

Silver is now gray, a storming gloomy cloud

Above the cloud is sun, below became lightning

No more rainbows play up the sky

Only gray and rain will shine in her eyes

Tonight she drowns in suffocated airspace
