Little Rag Doll Girl

Little Rag Doll Girl

A Poem by StarryNights

Broken like a rag doll

Tossed down to the ground

Could someone get some stitches

Before all the blood flows out?

I'm running out of hearts

You've run out of lies

You're running out of karma

So where's the chaos now?

There never really was a chance

Not that it matters now

I'll be strong enough to defeat

My broken rag doll heart

Only doubt holds you back

But hope lets me go forward

Maybe this is all for the best

To be walking into the light

All the darkness never said

An expressional truth that I could never understand

All the stars never sparkled enough

To make it all seem real

The sunshine was hidden behind stormy clouds

Wind flustered and burst into my doors

Here's the truth,

I finally understand

Go away, fly away, leave me be

I'm done living in this damned misery

Good-bye with regrets

Hello to new freedoms

A new start that should have came before
