Black and Blue

Scars somewhere new

Empty promises

Broken truths

Stained blood

Glass shattered

Across the living room floor

I see you

In the room

With someone new

Giving her the love

I used to receive

The love

I crave for

Live for

Would die for

She is carrying

Another life

Another soul

That you created

You are..

Happy

Excited

You cried

hearing you

were going to be in a family

with the woman you love

The soul came into the world

With flesh and blood

He is handsome 

Just like his father

You're on one knee

She is holding back tears

The magic words

are asked

She wraps her arms around your neck

That gave me no chance

To redeem what I've lost

I am sitting on a bed

Tears hitting the paper

As I write my final words

Praying to find something soon

Paper and pen fall

Blood gushes to the floor

I fall backward

Hitting the bed, smiling

Vision gets blurry

Eyelids getting heavy 

Final breath

The soul leaves the rotting flesh

To find something new

Ooooohhhhh! A suicide poem based off love! Dashing! I love the story and the way you intertwine the words together. This is a really great poem! This is definitely sad having to watch the people we love fall for someone else. That's the biggest kick in the gut. Nicely written!
