Grief

Grief

A Poem by Stella Armour

( an ekphrastic fibonacci) *

"

in

grief

silence

becomes her

natural beauty

but she sees only the darkness

whilst others see only her exquisite perfection.

I had to look up ekphrastic fibonacci. So glad I did, that's an amazing form of poetry. I'm not a poet, more of a long winded story teller, but I have dabbled since I've been on this site - there's so much talent to inspire one! And this...inspires. Perfectly done for the picture posted with.

By creating an expanding text format as the words flow down, the significance of your poetic message has intensified. Thus, the write becomes a reflection of the image … wonderful work!

Thank you so much, expressions often say that which words alone cannot ..
If only they really open their hearts to feel what this silent silence hides... Your words touch deep, and I think of a lonely queen or princess, or a famous star, Your painting looks to me like an old-time Arabian Woman, thank You also for Your note, I was wondering what it meant.

Thank you light and yes it was a monochrome picture i decided to paint of an Arabian lady
humility is so attractive....self-deprecation allows for
others compliment----to notice the beauty.
