imperceptibly

we move and sway

slow-motionless we float away

on melancholy clouds

of music lay

where we have dreamed

we’d be

one day...

the sultry beat and riffs

they play

like echoes in

our hearts replay

we’re not light-hearted...

our mood not gay

our souls imbibe

a deeper way

blue lustful beat

our hearts obey

like jungle drums

they pound away...

your body pressed

I love the way

your palms caress

and your lips

convey...
