My First and last Haiku: I can't taste life anymore

I think that this was a good choice for a first/last Haiku, as I tend to find Haikus to be annoying and a bit trivial all around. This however is very much not that, as it seems more to me like a three part comic strip that is neither a comic nor stripped. I know what it is to 'quit' a vice to find that in the quitting there seems to be a great lack for the rest of life. Nicely done.

Kudos to you for your adventure into a new genre. For a first (and sadly last) haiku I thought you did a magnificent job.

Good luck in the True Talent contest, I'll be announcing winners shortly.

How sad! The day I stopped smoking everything tasted so much better. In fact, I could finally appreciate more of the subtle flavors.

I agree with Gary H, below, who said there are layers and layers to this thing.

Funny how if we stop our 'habits' the world becomes so different. I like the idea of this haiku, there's a lot more going on that meets the eye which is how one should work.
