"Love Notes"

A Poem by Steven Pottle
"

True love on Valentine's Day...x

"

A love for me
Doesn't have to be remembered every February 14th
It can be celebrated any day you want

A love song to me
Doesn't have to be Number One for Sixteen bloody weeks!!!
It may be the song hanging around a Number Hundred and Three

A lover for me
Doesn't need pearl white smiles and a movie star address
They might be an amateur with walls that wobble

A loving feeling for me
Doesn't have to be the hot strum of a Spanish guitar
It could be the tiny ting of the quiet triangle

A love for me
Doesn't need to be explained or complicated
It could be a feeling that feels just like being in love.

How right you are..................love can be shown all year, why just one day?
The repetiton works very well, and brings home love can be different for all people,
special songs, and no need to look like a glamour queen.............this was thoughtful and
beautiful.

this is sweet... i like the uniqueness of it, even though you're touching upon common subjects.

i like the repitition of " a love for me" - that worked well.

nice job. :)

happy vday... not that it matters, since " a love for you...." :)

hugs
