The Slow Burning Fire

The Slow Burning Fire

A Poem by Voice11

In the belly of the black, rusted beast
lay the coals of the slow burning fire.

Its heat does not spread far
It chooses only to warm those who feed it.

The coals glow with pulsing ocher power
 Flames savor sensuously.

The emanating inferno devouring your will
and lulling your soul seamlessly to sleep.

You give a bright or firey definition of "fire" in poetic form with explanation that how ev'n the fire of heart many raise slowly & get enraged with the spark in coals... nice shot!
