Coming home

Coming home

A Poem by Storyteller
"

Fallen angel locked up in hell

"
I've been locked up in hell
For I have sinned and fell
Bound forever in the chains
Caught up in the flames
Surrounded by the cries of burning souls
And devils dancing on the burning coals

My burning flesh has filled my lungs with smoke
My tissue reduced to ashes, I choke
Until I grow fresh again
Oh, do they love the cry of pain?
And I have prayed until my last breath
In this underground world of living death

All I have ever did was, loved
Human, I have well admired
He has commanded me, I had to obey
To make my love for her go away
But love did not easily fade
So I have had to take my blade

Ripping off my wings in agony
Losing me was not a tragedy
But after a thousand years...
My father has not forgotten
His sinful son that has fallen
The doors of heaven have been dawn
Just for me as I come home
For I have redeemed my sins.
