His Rose

His Rose

A Poem by Amanda
"

this did not come out as good as i'd hoped

"

He was oh so very alone,

A wanderer through and through.

The loneliness seemed set in stone,

And so he did what he would always do.

Then came along the strong little flower,

Who took away all the lonely pain,

With her there he was rarely ever sour.

This little flower came to be his bane.

Together they traveled through the stars,

They thought they couldn’t fall from where they stood.

She and he were always near and rarely far,

But it soon ended by the hands of Torchwood.

Haunted by bad wolf and the prophecy,

That’s how the sad story goes,

For they were separated by time, you see

And that was the end of his Rose.

Nice writing here Mandabear. I think it came out fine. In time you may be able to revise a couple of lines maybe, we all do, but overall I think it's good.

You might want to check out another word for bane though, it means misery, pest or blight.
And I'm not a butt either. haha
