Innocent Deceiver

Innocent Deceiver

A Poem by Kayla K

With painted lies and painful words,
twisting cyclone, secret hate.
So-called friends actions alone
will tell me how with them I rate.

Inventing shadows,
in sunny places.
The hater band,
plays the aces.

Venom words leave scars,
like piercing daggers.
Down lonely pathways
the victim staggers.

Cry me a river,
I still see lies.
A stab in the back,
is no surprise.

I'm used to being hurt,
but I still feel the pain.
Just like all the people,
keep feeling pouring rain.

Judge me simple,
or riddle my rhyme.
It's you, not I,
who committed crime.

Point fingers if you please,
but we all have our scars.
Every child used to wish,
on every shooting star.

If you can't spare me the truth,
then please get out of my life.
Spare me, once, a little strife.

An apology means nothing.
Sorry is a reoccurring word.
Repeated every second,
it no longer is treasured.

Answer me with truth,
and we can get along.
One thing I've learned,
lies don't make the strong.

You'll plead not guilty,
and the jury will believe.
Onlookers stand blind,
innocent as you deceive.

Oh, innocent deceiver,
did my back hurt your knife?
Did I ruin your plan,
to ruin my life?

This is going to my favorites:)
People are so mean sometimes...they offer you something
so that you take your favor next time whenever they need:(

Love it It deeply expresses how you feel& you can feel the emotion as you keep on reading But not all people are like that Theres only a handful of people you can trust Great work

Thats just the pathetic nature of people, tossing troubles onto others and trying to rise above the rest at any cost. You really cant trust people. The closer you hold someone the deeper they can stab.

I'm a cyclone of myself, a caterpillar delight still finding my wings. A balloon stuck up in the clouds, no one can bring me down from my high. Shattered into pieces, be careful when you pick .. more..
