Alone But Alive...

Alone But Alive...

A Poem by Surya
"

Just words...

"
Feeling alone in feary world,
Day consumes me,
Drops occupy Black.

A tear drop with your
Image shines like a moon
In this scary night,
But drop fades away..

Words killing me,
Blood flowing as ink
On my days as sheets,
My life a paint on oily canvas...

I want your smile for
Hours and hours
Where you lying in my heart,
But now you are away...

Realised, regretted And
Am moving away
From my loss
At cost of hearts and drops..

Life is a fine teacher. We are always learning lessons.
"Realised, regretted And
Am moving away
From my loss
At cost of hearts and drops.."
The above lines. Real life and true. Thank you Surya for sharing your amazing poetry.

You are most welcome
"Words killing me,
Blood flowing as ink
On my days as sheets,
My life a paint on oily canvas..."

This was the stanza which attracted me the most. I love your choice of title too. That realization is the turning point, I think, that no matter how alone we are, still we're alive.
Btw, did you mean "fiery"? "feary" doesn't seem right..
A good write, well penned, Surya :)

Gee
We all move on from loss of course but the heart seem a to hold pain, anguish, fear longer than happiness, as if to remind us that the good times will one day end.
Nice job Surya

We cannot change the past but we can learn from it and move forward.
Tender, raw, real.

moving away from the pain...but the tears still sting just as much---the loss, the vulnerability...the memories...

Thank you Wordman...:)
Since I am a straightforward writer, I am fascinated by writers who can evoke emotion by throwing out a seemingly careless array of images & metaphors, without clearly connecting the dots, but the feelings come thru the word painting clearly anyway. I enjoy the way your metaphors & comparisons are consistent thru-out, with imagery blending ideas of drops, paint, & hearts.
