Raging Eagle..

Raging Eagle..

A Poem by Surya

Closed wings, a hidden plumage,
Like a broken beak of raging eagle,
Suffering pain, claws had no flaws
but of no use...State of mind stubborns.

Perception and misconception
towards visualising things led to damage,
Anyhow, Life is a lesson worth experiencing,
Though suffering is a choice..

I say Face it..

Suffering Eagle drawn to tears
Shedding like erupting volcano,
But suffered and raised from
Burning core of earth to survive...

This survival is not an act of living
It's a rebirth of raging eagle
turning into king of air
waiting for queen to share his throne..

Finally a day did come where I
seen my eagle hunting....

Haha, Yeah the most.....Thank you Wordman...:)
What mightY words are these, so finely laid, Surya.
There are times when one feels it impossible to find peace somewhere inside. Whatever hides, simmering, festers more and more.. then explodes into soaring fury til spent, in pain, distorted. Time sleeps, becomes static.. , the fury fades until.. The will and power slowly, slowly returns to display what was near destroyed by its own culpability. Deep breath, deep emotions in check, the eagle regains its proud composure, its true and precious Self. Perhaps.

Very interesting Surya. A creature of strength and powerful standing. I think deep down we all have a side to us that can rage on and explode at moments. It's up to us to keep that in line. I like your perspective. Thought provoking stuff. Great job my friend.

Very welcome!
I find this startling becuz so often eagles are portrayed as simply strong & noble . . . but actually, as a predator, eagles are fierce. I like seeing an eagle depicted as rage, which is thought-provoking. Maybe we each have an eagle inside us, as described in your poem . . . it can come out as raging fierce or rebirth of family connections. I'm also intrigued by your volcano analogy . . . which is very much like rage, festering inside with burning-hot magma. This poem offers imagery to spark the reader's imagination and lessons to make the reader think.
