A place among the crowdA Poem by Sush_writesThe poem shares a perspective about when people are running around in the world to see themselves on the billboard, before pleasing the crowd they must appreciate themselves for their desires.
I stood in the crowd,
staring at the billboard wondering where I'd stand. If I could just speak what's in mind, only if I could see what's there, know what it takes, stand where I should but that's where I try I try, to try to dance until I can and then, try again. For when I can, and when I stand and when I dance, I'll be me and the world will see who I am where I am and there the stage will be, where I'll be me. and no one else would say that you need a stage for yourself cause when I'll dance, when I'll try and when I'll sing and twirl and be myself, I'll be the stage, I'll be the crowd I'll be dancing on the streets full of crowd that I don't need. The world will be on your feet that's what they all say but who cares for the world, when you are there where you're supposed to be cause you're the world and you're the crowd. Clapping hands they praise you reaching from your soul they stand by you and every time you twirl they gasp in awe and the moment stands still, tears roll down your cheeks and you see, what you always wanted to see A place among the crowd.
