You Make Me Bloom

You Make Me Bloom

A Poem by Saruwa
"

Through the Seasons of life, you are my Spring

"
I don't know how you do it,
it seems like magic to me- such charm.
Everything that once felt wrong,
it's all right in your arms.

My face that wasn't pretty enough,
my body & figure that wasn't so tight,
My style that was a little different-
you say these all fit me so right.

Those dark days where storms would brew,
inside my heart, my chest they riled.
You brought sunny days and warm embraces,
my life is changed forever, I'm beguiled.

Not only do I love you, I love myself.
for the first time in a long time, I do.
Like sun and rain you have brought life to me,
So I am writing this for you.

This is a very lovely poem, Sarah.

A very heartfelt, sweet and genuine poem, intended for the one who has given you a new lease of life.
There is a childlike quality to this piece, very innocent and easy on the mind when it is read.
Sometimes there is nothing like being seen as special in the eyes of another to make us happy and feel like the brightest star in the galaxy.
Sweet and light and well written. Nice work.
