I Wait For Just One Touch

I Wait For Just One Touch

A Poem by Sorry Infamous

Further
my fingers
that hover over the dip
above your lip
that strangely
seems beautiful
just now
give to me
this moment
to outlive them all
even perhaps
more wonderful
then the day you
claimed my
spine exquisite
then we
passed out
together
on the stairs.

Spread
like grape jelly
on my cold floor
clumsy hands
reaching out
that have
alluring become
handsome as
you recline
at my tiny feet
may this be
the time
you come
so lightly
to relieve me
of life
of love
if not
I will wait
for you
endlessly

Spread
like grape jelly
on my cold floor -- I love it!

I will wait
for you
endlessly -- I can feel it, in my bones.

I love the way you write, I often feel like I'm gliding when I read your work, coasting on the back of a butterfly, effortlessly lifting and dipping just as your words do, in my mind....

Your clever phrasing intensifies meaning and
drives home the point in singular fashion.

Unique poem in a classical styling.
Tender sentiments expressed over and over
with great talent and imagery.

Great poem.
