Schoolday

Schoolday

A Poem by Swetha

At school you laugh, you shout

You get scolded and then you pout

The teacher walks out and then you play

And the routine goes on the whole day

In she comes, time to hide

She finds you and pulls you outside

In the corridor, you feel ashamed and sick

But you’re all alone and it’s the wall that you kick

Now it’s finally time for your test

You give it your very best

The results are here, you feel so proud

You shout your score, you shout really loud

And then she comes and swipes you off your chair

And tells you again to go and stand out there

You’re fuming now, but you don’t complain

Or else she’ll just punish you again!

School’s over now, time to say goodbye

To your teacher, your friends, and the friendly worker guy

Then you go home and jump in the lane

And the whole cycle starts again

yeah, i can see what you mean. thanks for the review!
That's so apt and true. Fun and cute penning. It reminds me of school days again.

At school you laugh, you shout
You get scolded and then you pout

Great lines. Also the part about scoring on test.. what great ruckus that creates. :P
