Blossom of the Night

The blossom of the night unfolds

like a juliet rose...

Purple aura of desire kisses

the night with succulent lips

and the sultry pout of passion.

 

And as the slender limbs of temptation

sway in the lavender breeze

enticing the whisper of the willows;

Pebbles of yesterday

 skip over rippled memories,

 where ancient roots grow deeply

along the waters edge...

 

 The musky perfume of seduction lingers,

 as the eyes of dawn

 awaken with the scent of dew

 dripping from the brow of the morn.
