Nightingale

Nightingale

A Poem by SyberRose

The lavender fog swirls like a Juliet rose

while the lunar liquid trickles down

the window of passion~

A dusty pink blossom awakens

to the stem of night

 bathing in her glory~

And torturous bewitchment of thirst

delights in the whispers of adoration.

Melodious strings of your guitar

descend deeply into a wilderness

exploring in a pool of wonderment~

 I am your sweet nightingale

your songbird in our Eden of night

as the timbre of my voice serenades~

(Your melodious drug of choice)

As whispers flow through your pulsating veins

lifting you above the clouds

to an extraordinary planet~

An unknown planetary nebula

where desire is our haven~

Wow, this is a fantastically written piece, I really enjoyed it.

This is stunningly romantic and beautifully crafted, and the word choice is perfect. The imagery is superb, dreamy, and surreal.

Great work!!

Thank you Lydia...and for peeking in today...Rose:)
I know nothing about romance, but your work awakens something in me that's vaguely familiar. Am I saying it right? Well, I love the imagery and how the whole scenario was featured. One by one, everything was described and we all ended up imagining a beautiful night, sweet and soft.
