Nudes of Chastity

Nudes of Chastity

A Poem by SyberRose

How wondrous are the shadows and lunar light?

as they embrace in the wilderness of the dark~

The heartbeat of the wind softly whispers

desiring the Potion of the night~

And as mere mortal beings sleep

the passionate gods drink of nectar~

And free spirits of restlessness

become the goddesses of desire~

The nudes of chastity shed inhibitions

within the fragrance of an ambrosial moon~

And entangled are the Aphrodite’s of temptation

behind the veil of the gossamer mist~

How wondrous are the shadows and lunar light?

as they embrace in the wilderness of the dark.

This poem reminds me of a delightful picture of nocturnal fairies that appear on a clear moonlite night when all mankind are tucked away safely sound asleep and dance around a fairy tree, in sheer unabashed ecstasy!

So imaginative and enjoyable to read !

How beautiful the images are in this poetry, they seem to entwine into a dance of their own. I enjoyed all but the above is my favorite part. I'd like the think Gods drink nectar while i'm dreaming and turn me into a goddess of desire. Thank you for reviewing "Dreamers".

Thank you very much for that lovely review...and you are welcome...Rose:)
I liked it and enjoyed reading it, we do wonder at night before falling asleep, and our subconscious keeps on wondering when we're asleep.

Thank you Onku...and so nice hearing from you today as always...Rose:)..hugs
This is beautifully written with overriding thoughts. So passionate...like the two different individuals become one...in the silence and darkness of the night.

Loved the imagery.
