Written about my friend

I have failed,

Tears fall,

I break,

You hail,

You call,

You make it all better,

With A halo over your head,

You said:

"You find your way to me,"

Wings around me,

Up in the clouds we meet,

Until I can't take the heat,

You make me ok,

You pull me back together,

Give me hope, 

Give me faith, 

You Are my angel,

I like this piece very much = you have an interesting form - mixed lines for stanzas - but each word is there for a reason - with a subject such as this - it could be very cliche - but you avoided that.

Thank you very much! I try very hard to stay away from cliches. I find that writing from pure feelings rather than images helps.
My form comes mostly from the fact that I try to follow the rules of poetry, but always end up failing.

Is this poem about a lost love one? Definitely the impression I'm getting both because of the angel imagery and because I've lost a few friends myself

This poem inspired by two different friends. the first friend left me. At times I feel as though the girl I once knew died and has been replace by this other being that lives in her body.
And then the poem is about a second friend that I got to know after the first one left.
At times I feel like the first friend sent me the second because they are so much a like. I was inspired to write about about angels that help guide people to us. Even if we lose those friends. THe angel is always there guiding the next one in to your life.

This's again a saddest one but not too much, i can see here the strongest strength of love b/w the frnds. I loved the theme and i felt the poem that's written from the heart. Brilliant job.
