Freed

Freed

A Poem by Sylo's Rose
"

caged from and outside point of view. Her rescuer

"

Running Farther day by day

Love getting stronger slowly

The moon so close it brushes my tail

A howl fills the air

A cage rattles with fury

Slipping through the trees I watch

The sun sets....

The full moon raises....

She's caged as the change takes place

Her fur presses out

Bars closing around her shoulders

Slim shoulers

Her claws scrap the concrete floor

Her fangs fighting to get ahold of the silver bars

Silver digging into her skin pst her fur

Her fury raises with the moon

She's caged

Laughter closes around her

I must free her

Lunging for the rope

Pulling with all my worth

The door's latch finally gives way.

She's free.

She's running into the forest with out a second glance.

I stand there and stare after her. Look at me look at me.

But all she cares is that she's....

Freed

A clarifying thought, how closely are we related to animals of the wild, well done, good read.
