A Wolf's Life

A Wolf's Life

A Poem by Sylo's Rose

I am from..

A shadowed past full of pain and longing

I am from ....

A midnight run through the shadowed forest

I am from...

The last howl on the blackest hill

I am from...

I gentle muzzle and a hard fang

I am from...

A warm place by the fire and a harsh winter with the pack

I am from..

The open meadpw lite by the moon and a barred cage lite by my hatred

I am from..

One last look over the valley and one more run through the darkened woods

From the last breath on the last wind flowing through the forest to the last of my pack
