Esme Caliente lives in a world where class is determined by hair and eye color. She is born Harle in a Hazmat family, labeled an untouchable by the outside world. Then, she wakes up in a post apocalyptic world infested with zombies. Esme and her gang of teenage rogues try to save the world by reuniting the clans. (Book 1 in the Sati Series)
Thats Pretty much what happened in the book. But thats not even half what happened yet. There are multiple battles and character development. This would grip me if i never read the story before
Sounds interesting. This sheds more light on the story than what it says on the book page. I also like that here you've clarified exactly what a Harle is, the title of a certain caste of people in the world which you have created. When I first read the word, I was confused, as I had never heard it before. I believed it to be a misspelling. In my online search, I discovered that a Harle is the name of a type of duck, so I was confused as to its presence in chapter one. Then you pointed out that several words were made up.
In the future, I think that it would be to your story's benefit to capitalize words such as Harle and Royalsis, as they are, in your world, proper nouns, being the names of specific groups in the society you've created. It helps emphasize their importance and clears up confusion when a reader is presented with the word they do not know.
One thing off in this short summary, the word "aloud", in the first sentence is the wrong one. It means out loud, as in speaking. The word you want is "allowed", which is for giving permission.
Overall the story seems interesting. The idea behind it has merit. So I might just stop by to take a look at a few more chapters. Again, good luck with both your novel and your contest.
