Don't Give Up On Me

Don't Give Up On Me

A Poem by Emily Irene.
"

Written from different perspectives.

"

Don't you want me to cry again

Don't you want me to die again

Don't you want me to lead again

Don't you want me to feed again

The machines beep off

to a world that leaves without

you,

and I have one parting saying:

“Things will be okay someday”

Don't give up on me,

angel,

there's still heaven here.

This was very touching. And a very good message to never give up on the people you truly love. Was there something specific that inspired this piece. It's really good. I love it. Thank's for sharing, I do appreciate great writing.

Best,
