The warrior

The warrior

A Poem by T.B. Odin

The warrior.

The wounds cut into my heart
Unlike flesh will never heal
The endless pain and sorrow
My soul will always feel
The scars sear deep into my heart
And forever is it cast in stone.
Bound and locked with iron and steel
Banished in darkness to be alone
Deep in blackened ice it is
Where it will finally lie
Out of reach of hungry lust
Where it will lay to die.
But something in its absence has arose
A warrior, guardian, the keeper of my heart
Who will crush all who may oppose.

Well once again, I love this so much. You have said it in such a unique way. Surely, did expect that kind of warrior.

lol... Cool...

I have to admit, it's got a sinister tone to it. ^^ I really like the way you've got this put together; the rhyme scheme definitely contributed to the awesome tone. :)

Lol This poem is written like a true warrior. ;) It reminded me of Japanes samurai; honor, victory, and loyalty! Great work!
