Goodbye

Goodbye

A Poem by Tay

"I won't see you again after this."
The words stung my ears as they were said
Hurt
In the slight cold of the weather
His pinkish cheeks drain
Ghost white
Paper thin
And I'm sure we both feel as if I just stabbed him.
Perhaps
Maybe it would have hurtles
"I don't want you to go"
His voice was saddened
Like one out of a hurt child
Tears stung my eyes as I fought to smile
"Stay"
His voice was almost demanding
Shaking
I started with my head before body trembling sobs shook me
Hugs
His arms
Huge
He slowly wraps himself around me and cries too
A small smile creeps across my face
Love
If you love something let it go right?
This is what love feels like
Electrifying
An over whelming warm sensation
His lips on mine
Showering me with his kisses
Lust
I needed him
More than ever in the moment
I let him completely take me over
Make me want every inch of him
And boy did I get it
Leaving
Out of breath and drained
Our last kiss seemed like years
Tears stung my eyes again
"I love you"
He whispered
"I know"
He turned and started walking
He left me
Left me under the streetlight on my knees
Tears streamed down my face as I watched him disappear into the dark
"Goodbye"
Was all that was said...
