Gravity

Gravity

A Poem by Zach Gordano
"

We are meant to be.

"
Beams of starlight, star bright, shining on me just right.
Warped spacetime will make you be forever mine.
I'm on a wavelength heading right in your direction,
Coming from the heavens to a better place, I'm destined.
Let's just slow this down, kick back and lay around.
Sh, it's a perfect vacuum, not even a sound.
You sucked me in, and spit me out.
I'm left here in a spatial drought.
I thought L O V E is what we were about.
Everything in the universe has a gravitational attraction,
So let's just please get past this complex infraction.
So you and me,
Are bound together by gravity.
Your aurora eyes illuminate my dark skies.
This angelic phenomenon is the greatest surprise.
I'm praying for you now from sunset to sunrise.
Real eyes realize real lies.
