Craving NeedsA Chapter by TKBickel
The simple blunt statement stunned Samantha. Briefly, she thought her body was in pain until he touched her cheek, rubbing a spot of blood off with his thumb. “I need you…I need you now. I will need you tomorrow. I will need you every single day after that…The question is Samantha Kelley…Can you handle that?”
She didn’t realize how much control Sam had over her. Within seconds he twisted her up and turned her inside out with devastation…then joy. She had never thought of Sam walking away. He would live longer if he would leave me right now. Everything is gunning for him just because of me. I have to give him the chance to leave…That is if she could. The thought of him walking away from her sent another round of excruciating pain through her entire body. Nerve endings burned and screamed as if she was dipped in acid, causing her to hold her breath. It was almost as intense as the consuming pain she experienced in the bathtub. Closing her eyes, she forced in a deep breath in effort to control the rip of pain. The cold tried to creep in and penetrate the core of her body.
He watched the pain explode in her face and felt her energy darken and change, almost shoving him out. “Sammie?” Almost uttering the same words, he caught himself. “What is it?”
Samantha looked back up to Sam’s worried face. She started strong but fizzled at the end when the uncontrollable shaking began. “Playtime is over Samuel. Do not tease me anymore. I will hold nothing against you if you want to walk away.”
He encased her pained face with both hands and wrapped her like a blanket with the essence of his soul. This day has gone from bad to worse. How did I manage to make such a mess all by myself? “Sammie girl…I believe I told you once that I’m not going anywhere without you…Remove any doubt in that beautiful mind of yours…I will take on anyone or anything, to be by your side as long as you want me there.” God I hope that’s forever. He searched her eyes to read if she understood. “Now do you have anymore questions that we can answer and never worry about again?” The warmth of his touch and smile chipped at the invading chill.
He spun her like a top all over again. The rollercoaster she was on today had to many highs and lows, moving to fast one-way then another. Her cart was about to fly off its rails. She could take on any spook with no fear, yet she was still trembling in his hands with fear…Fear of him not wanting her…leaving her. Samantha practically begged with a ragged breath. “Kiss me Sam. Kiss me now.”
He descended down, softly kissing her trembling lips. It took a couple short soft kisses from him to absorb the shaking. Gathering her in, he increased the intensity of the kiss, reaching further into her.
The advancing cold retreated from within as she pushed into him with the next escalating kiss. Invading every physical inch she possibility could, she dug in deep, sucking in his essence like a parched desert traveler. The most perfect kiss she had ever experienced weaved and intertwined, folding into itself. He was hot as the sun and she melted into him with such a timeless bliss.
Maybe the vamp killed me and this is my heaven? Nothing moved but them into each other. Perfection…Unity…but what is that noise? Is it a whimper or a growl? I wish it would go away…Is it an animal? Is it hungry or in pain? Somewhere Samantha’s mind and physical world split in two. The two worlds crashed back together shattering the perfect world holding her in limbo and tearing her apart. Samantha’s eyes popped open. Oh God that’s me! Her being vibrated with so much energy, air crackled around them. It seemed her body became confused if it was in pain or ecstasy. Is this what it’s like to be on a high or crashing from it? Can it both happen at the same time?
Breaking away, Sam jolted back to reality. She tried to control her voice and not moan. That failed. “Saaam,” she tried focusing on his vivid deep blue eyes. A pink aura could be seen again along with an electrical sounding hum. Energy rolled in her like a screaming turbine, creating an enormous build up of power. Samantha tried to control it or stop it.
Sam felt the change of the massive power roll and had no issues with it. “Sammie what can I do? Tell me what’s going on.”
Latching onto his arms she closed her eyes and tried to focus on anything. Breathing pushed beyond control. “I can’t…stop it…or gain…control.”
The dilemma bounced around in his brain. Maybe that’s the problem. I have no idea what to control so I haven’t attempt too. “Don’t control it!”
“Relax, let go. Let it run its course and see what happens.” Sam placed his forehead to hers. “I’m here Sammie. Tell me the first thought or feeling that comes to you.”
Samantha gave in and let go. A dam broke within, taking her remaining breath. A wave of something washed over her. If it was water she would have sworn the whole ocean just cleansed her inside out.
The tsunami hit Sam, taking his breath. It rolled all in and retreated back to Samantha, causing another gasp out of her. She let it come and go. Fighting the urge to keep track of how many times the diminishing wave rotated. She stayed true to letting her entire being relax. Finally the normal roll of their energy returned.
“Holy s**t…How much energy were you holding in?” There was no reply. “Sammie are you,” Damn, I almost did it again, “going to talk to me?”
Floating some where between the conscious and subconscious, she became aware of her entire being in sync again. It was in total agreement of one thing. She piggy backed a one word message to him on their unique connection. You.
Sam straightened with a bewildered expression. “What?”
“You said first thought or feeling…Both are you.” A howl of, “Now,” oozed out. The familiar feral ach burned. The absolute need ran rapid. “Today has been nothing but a down right excruciating tease. No more…Now Sam!” Desperate hands grabbed his jean jacket, yanking him down to her. Latching back on to his lips, her hands disappeared under his shirt.
Fingers burned a trail up his quivering abs, brushing over the sensitivity of harden n*****s, causing a shutter through out his body. Sam bit down on her bottom lip and tugged. “Oh God girl…We’re just a block away.”
She came across seductively heated and husky. “You have five minutes to get me there or I’m taking you where ever you are…We will be stopping traffic if it’s in an intersection.”
No further seduction needed, he scooped her up. “Give me three minutes.”
Heading out the alley, something nagged Samantha and it wasn’t Sam. Finally, it pushed foreword from the back of her lust fogged mind, the safety of her friends. “Sam Stop!”
Sam slid to a halt at the mouth of the alley. “Go, Stop, your killing me Sammie.”
“Sorry, call Mick. He has to see the girls off tonight. It’s not safe for them.”
Sam dropped Samantha on her feet and quickly dug out his phone. Speed dial one produced two rings and voice mail. “Hey man, we ran across some vamp issues so please make sure the girls leave the bar ok. Tuck them in a taxi or something.” Samantha’s hands roamed all over him as he attempted to leave his quick message. “Mick you better brace yourself in about fifteen minutes.”
Urgency rang in her voice. “Sam four minutes!” Her hand dipped down his pants.
“Oh God…Man I’ve got to go.” The phone snapped shut and disappeared back in his pocket. “Damn girl we have to go.” Swept back in his arms, he sprinted down the sidewalk.
