A Chapter by TKBickel

Mick’s head leaned on the other side of the hotel room’s door while holding the key. Well it seems quiet.

It turned out to be one of the strangest nights and he didn’t end up in a girl’s bed. That was a big strange right there. Macy practically crawled in his pants but Brenda crawled under his skin, into his brain. Something about her pulled him in.

Unlocking the door, he creped it open. Eyes adjusted quickly to the dark. Since his senses had been enhanced from Samantha’s strange magical voodoo that she do, he didn’t need much light to see clearly. That particular side effect he didn’t mind.

Samantha’s bloody white shirt greeted him on the floor. A big sigh escaped. Those two are going to get themselves killed…Then who am I going to yell at? Quietly closing the door he followed the breadcrumb trail of clothes, boots and shoes. His eyes skimmed across black lace, making his muscles tensed over. Oh, that’s too much information. He dropped on the side of his plush made bed minus the pillows. They managed to have their own pillow fight. Pillows carnage scattered over the room.

He couldn’t help but inspect the two of them. Dried blood smeared across the top white sheet covering the two of them. Samantha laid across Sam like a human blanket. As Sam snored softly, Mick noticed her arm was bandaged up. The impression hit it would be a good idea not to have his eyes open when they woke up. We really need to start getting two rooms. The pale white skin on Samantha’s exposed back almost glowed in the dark. He could see she was supporting a fresh looking six inch angry scare across it. Good God Sammie.

Mick fell back, staring up at the dark ceiling while his mental television played a rerun of the days events. Everything went smoothly until those two trouble makers came back to the room. He barely snapped the phone shut after listening to Sam’s message before the first wave hit him. That was no where close to the fifteen minutes I was allotted! Thank God I was able to pass off my funky actions to a bad message. No one witnessed the second meltdown in the bathroom.  I should have been golden the rest of the night but no you rabbits had to mess it up a third time. Picking his head up he looked at the mess of them. Damn you two! You had to go with the tri-fecta. Letting his head fall back, We have to come up with a solution to this problem quick…It’s not like it’s painful…but come on you two, it’s on the side of…Eww, to much information…Besides, I can’t have this happening to me when I’m around other people.

The third time happened in front of the girls, again, and it was the most in tensed. Good thing Macy had too much to drink to notice…but Brenda picked up on it. She knows something is up…She’s one smart cookie…I would like to create some of my own intense feelings with her…I wonder how that would go over with Sammie if I see her when we get back?

Glancing at his watch, his arm flopped on the bed while letting out an aggravating sigh. Damn it. Not much time left for sleep and I know I won’t sleep on that God forsaken plane. Sitting back up, he kicked his off shoes, slipped his shirt off over his head and tossed it in the mess on the floor. The silver buckle, hiding a small arrowhead dagger, unlatched. He slid out of his jeans and under the fluffy down comfort. Oh man, this is a nice bed.

In no time, Samantha heard Mick’s breathing change to long deep draws. Slowly, she turned her head to the other side to see the hidden bump in the other bed. Still wound tight with built up energy, she couldn’t sleep. Sam had been worn out but determined to stay awake until she fell asleep. So she pulled out her Oscar and acted like sleeping beauty for thirty seconds until he was out cold.

Being in such a wild state of mind, she would freely admit to being a bit hard to handle tonight. What a trooper my man is. Her own uncontrollable she devil grin spread across her face as she closed her eyes again, basking in her after glow. Sam managed to figure out how to grab the energy, hold on to it and be the sender instead of the receiver. What an intense experience that was for the both of them. There can’t be one woman as satisfied as I am.

Now she was content just lying on him, skin to skin. Listening to his heart beat in rhythm with hers, moving up and down on his chest as he snored. You are absolutely the best thing that’s has ever happen to me.

She was still smiling like a fool as her thoughts drifted back to Mick. She was shooting fifty-fifty odds of him kicking the door down and chewing them out. I’m really glad that you decided to go with the calmer approach. Both of you need some sleep before our early flight. I’m sure my verbal beating will commence later.

Sam’s arm slid around her lower back as a, “mmm,” raddled in his chest. He was still sleeping but having an obvious enjoyable dream. I wish I could get a glimpse of what you’re dreaming.

Slowly she moved her head back around, dragging her chin on his chest. Even with him asleep, the dragging skin contact created a tantalizing tingle. She became very aware of the warmth and the heightened feel of skin on skin. Whoa there cowgirl! You’re going to get yourself all frustrated…There are other things you should be thinking about right now while you have the time.

The vamp issue was disturbing and wrong. She picked at it bit by bit. I really need to get my hands on Sam’s laptop. A few things needed to be researched to answer her burning questions.

I’ll wait an hour before I attempt to move. She might be a person that doesn’t like to waste time but she knew how to be patience when needed.

This was another great chapter. I love the tensing feeling I got when I read Mick's pov. It was good to read him doing some hunting too. The whole thing was perfect and I didn't find anything wrong with it. Overall 10/10

Samantha’s voodoo that she do, .... Clarify awkward sentence))))

Another chapter that does not disappoint in the least degree. I have to say what a ride. I must move on to the next chapter.
