The Blue Sky

The Blue Sky

A Poem by ROXANE DORSEY

The sky is one big eye
The sky eye is blue
The sky eye is open during the day
The sky eye is closed at night

The sun comes out to play with the sky
The moon sleeps with the sky during night life
When it rains, the sky is crying

Lightening is the sky's temper flaring up threats
All kind of weather wants to dance out of the sky's
curtain from hurricanes, tornadoes and blizzards, off
of rap rock and roll.

I love to keep the sky classical, hand stringing the violin
for calmness wit gratitude for living appreciating my mind,
loving the iron blue sky that never fell.

thanks for the kind review and read
Love it, Roxane! Vivid, simple, and yet piercing. Last line is perfect... "loving the iron blue sky that never fell." Your hope and optimism shine through, and in the end, instruct. Nice work, again!
