Missing Mom

Missing Mom

A Poem by ROXANE DORSEY

It's been a long time
I miss talking wit mom
picturing her face so lovely wit grace
she's in another place

your seed wit dad's needs produced life
inside your womb was my cocoon
round and plump
grew a baby's bump

caressed wit care did mom share
motherly love kept dear in my heart
never shall I forget my mom's unconditional
love cause I gave her the blue's.

love poetry since it has been embedded in my mind deeply way back when I was 4 years old. A very good reader in pre-school. Nursery rhymes tuned me in even deeper. more..
