Of all the stars in the sky so high

You're the one that shined the most bright

It's hard to believe that just because I needed someone to open up to

Could lead into the three heartfelt words, I Love You.

To be honest, I never thought we'd get this close

Now, I pray you'll be there when I have no hope

All those times we've talked and texted

You ease my mind when I feel most vexed

Of all the fish in the sea, I want this one

You're both my moon and my sun

Here comes the end of a poem where I spill my heart

You know, the one you have now become apart

This is one of the poems that I wished would never end

But there are still some words that cannot be written with a pen

It's not bad. Simple and easy. I was kinda sad when I saw it wasn't rhyming, but it did later on. Yay!
If I could guess at your reason for that kind of rhyme scheme, I'd say it's because
You also agree people tend to be a little bit more poetic if they're sad or emotional. Thats what poems are for, right?
I'm not good at reviewing poems, so I can't find any flaws. Though it really isn't my kind of poem. I like one with a little more surprise.
Love isn't surprising for me. But overall, its good.
