Lightning

Lightning

A Poem by Tamia123
"

My view of a lightning storm

"

Wide eyes look

Out the clear

Glass case:

They see

Everything and

Nothing at all

Then they come

Fightning and

Welcoming, Their

Electric fingers

Reach.

And Reach, what

are they reaching

For? They call out

To me.

Then they start

To cry. Oh their

Cry seems to

Streach across

The land.

With a "Boom!"

It seems to

Shake the

House

All too soon

The fingers stop

Reaching.

The wide eyes

Close shut.

The house sleeps.

I love this poem. It is to the point. I don't like lightening it scars me more than thunder does. I mean especially if you sleep near a window. I enjoyed this. Thanks for sharing.
