No heart is safe

Just a poem I wrote when I was going to brake up with my bf and was unsure... I broke up with him and it was really hard to do :(

 

You,

You tear my heart,

Which way,

I don’t know

 

Are you the kind one?

Are you the mean one?

Are you the selfish one?

Are you the player?

 

Who are you?

Do I know you?

 

No,

I don’t

It was a mistake

 

Do I love you?

NO

 

My heart is deprived,

Deprived from love,

For to long,

It lies to me

Like you

 

What to do?

What side do I take?

 

Are you right?

Is everyone else right?

Or is my silent heart right?

 

How will I do it?

We are the same

Yet so different

What to do

 

I want no feelings hurt

No hearts broken

But it is inevitable

 

You will be hurt

I will be hurt

 

No ones heart is safe

Not from me

I like this it really speaks the truth. None of us are safe... I really like the feeling of wanting to be accepted. I get that a lot... I can relate this seems like something that I would write.

This is very good poetry. You question many things that don't have answers. Life is a test. Need luck and kindness. When you open your heart and mind to love. The ending is written with time and the love need luck and wise people to find success and happiness. A strong ending to a excellent poem.
