Free Fall

Free Fall

A Poem by Areya Valena
"

I fell, you caught me, we both let go, I'm falling, you won't catch me, I can't find you.

"
Free fall into oblivion,
Adrenaline courses through my veins,
the same veins that pump the blood,
from the heart you once made race.
Reaching out for nothing,
no foothold, no ledge to save my soul,
no thoughts, no breaths,
just this remorse I hold.
Screams evade me,
I grasp for some kind of voice,
that I never could really find,
And think my future through as if I have a choice.
Free falling,
I don't see your arms,
waiting patiently to catch my flaws,
my choices have caused so much harm.
Free falling,
Where are you now,?
I'm going to hit ground soon,
into oblivion. i fall,
Into this nothingness, I drown.
