Sweet Tragedy

Sweet Tragedy

A Poem by Areya Valena
"

Some people just snap. Some people just break. Some people can't take the pain anymore.

"
Oh, honey, your skin always smelled like sweet brown sugar,
And it’s smelling even better as it burns.
I don’t have anything to cure your thirst baby,
but I’ll be here with you until the pain is over.
Your screams are as beautiful as the day,
You sang your heart away,
As I sat in your lap.
Oh honey,
I promise you won’t die in vain,
For this bullet will take me with you,
and we will forever be the tragedy,
That we were since the day we first kissed.
Where’d I get the matches?
Where’d I get the gas?
I used your girl’s money babe,
And her ID too,
Everyone said we looked alike,
I didn’t think it true.
Where is she now?
Silent, and safe I promise you,
In the room I found you two in,
No she isn’t breathing baby,.
She’ll never say your name so sweetly again.
Did you just say “why” ?
I can barely hear you over the beautiful flames.
I couldn’t take it anymore love,
I couldn’t take this pain.
You never loved me did you!?
YOU NEVER GAVE A DAMN!
Well now, you can feel the burn in my heart baby.
The hurt that never failed.
I HATE YOU!
I LOVE YOU!
I MISS YOU!
Im not over you…
As these tears run down,
As this pain burns to the sky.
I promise you as I bite this bullet.
That our love won’t die.
